Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what साहित्य सञ्जाल (“Sahitya Sanjaal,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the service, you agree to this policy.

Account data. When you sign up we collect your email address and password (stored securely by our auth provider), plus the username and display name you choose.

Profile data. Optional bio and avatar image you upload.

Content you create. Posts (title, body, genre, meter / chhanda, publish state), likes, and comments.

Technical data. Session cookies needed to keep you signed in, and standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request times) used for security and reliability.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your username, display name, bio, avatar, published posts, likes, and comments are visible to others. Drafts are not shown publicly. Do not post sensitive personal data you want to keep private.

We use trusted providers to run साहित्य सञ्जाल, including authentication, database, and file storage (currently Supabase). They process data only to provide those services under their own privacy terms.

We use cookies and similar storage for sign-in sessions. Without them, account features will not work. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We keep account and content data while your account is active. You may delete posts or update your profile from the app. If you want your account removed, contact us and we will delete personal account data within a reasonable time, except where we must retain records for security or legal reasons.

साहित्य सञ्जाल is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

• Unpublish or delete your own posts
• Sign out to end the current session on that device
• Request account deletion by contacting us

We use industry-standard practices (encrypted connections, hashed passwords via our auth provider, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.

Use of साहित्य सञ्जाल is also governed by our Terms of Service.
